These Terms & Conditions apply to all hires arranged through Pottery @ Home.
About us

Pottery @ Home is operated by PWHR Ltd, a UK-registered company based in Scotland.
By making a reservation or entering into a hire agreement, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Our service
​
Pottery @ Home provides pottery wheels for hire for use in a home setting.
All hires are subject to availability and confirmation.
​
​
Reservations & bookings
​
Submitting a reservation request does not constitute a confirmed booking.
A booking is confirmed once availability is agreed and payment has been received.

​
Hire periods & billing
​
The minimum hire period is 4 weeks
​
Hire is priced per week and billed in 4-week periods, paid in advance
​
Hire continues until the wheel is returned or collected
​
​
Deposits
​
A refundable deposit equal to 4 weeks’ hire is required for all rentals
​
Deposits are held for the duration of the hire
​
Deposits are returned following collection, subject to inspection
​

Customer responsibilities
​
You are responsible for:

safe and appropriate use of the equipment
-
following care and safety guidance
-
keeping the wheel clean and in good condition
Equipment must be used indoors only.
Damage, faults & liability
Normal wear and tear is expected.
Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow guidance may result in deductions from the deposit.
Pottery @ Home is not liable for:
-
personal injury arising from misuse of the equipment
-
damage to property
-
loss of work, materials, or fired pieces
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
Delivery & collection
Delivery and collection take place on weekends only and are arranged by appointment.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel a reservation before confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible.
Reservation fees are refundable where a hire cannot proceed.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
